Welcome! My name is Jenn. I am a psychotherapist working with women in Santa Barbara County. Clients I work with are often overwhelmed by anxiety. They describe feeling as though they've lost their spark. They feel burdened by the expectations of others, frustrated with unhealthy patterns, or unsatisfied in their relationships. Many women come to me overwhelmed with work or school and wanting to achieve a work/life balance. Some clients are wondering about the right time to start a family, while others have experienced a challenging, often heartbreaking, road in trying to start their family. New moms share with me they feel as though they've lost a part of themselves in caring for their growing family, they've lost their connection with those closest to them, and often times their symptoms of Postpartum Depression or Anxiety are sucking the joy out of motherhood. Parents who come see me are confused by their toddler or preschoolers behavior and need support and guidance in understanding ways to help their children deal with big emotions.
